46. Surgical Management Options for CRVO

Vitrectomy surgery with either retinal endovascular cannulation or radial optic neurotomy has been reported to successfully treat complications of CRVO. Yet, neither procedure has gained widespread adoption by retina specialists. In the era of intravitreal injections of steroid and anti-VEGF agents, is there any role for vitrectomy surgery in the management of CRVO?
