17. Spectral OCT for AMD in Anti-VEGF Era

Jerzy Nawrocki, Z. Michalewska, J. Michalewski (Lodz)

Authors present both dry and wet AMD visualised with spectral OCT. Better resolution and possibility to achieve many B- scans allow to present detailed structure of retina. This allows to find most delicate changes. Retina thickness and retina layers mapping is possible, however the value of mapping even with dual beam is useful only in not much advanced cases. Spectral OCT gives us more information as compared with "time domain" OCT. In clinical examination we prefer to compare series of B-scans instead of mapping or single scan observation.
