Idocyanin green mediated photothrombosis in vascular chorioretinal diseases

Basic research and clinical applications of the indocyanine green mediated photothrombosis and its technique variations including photothermal as well as in growth site therapy is presented based on recent “peer review” publications as a modality of treatment for subfoveal choroidal neovascular membranes from different causes as well for other conditions like persistent central serous chorioretinopathy and intra-ocular vascular tumors.
